Description

This cycle of lessons is based on the idea of recognizing the historical background of our multicultural societies by tackling the civil and legal roots of our social imaginary in its own political-theological causes.
It means to realize how the current perception of religions has a qualified role in clarifying social phenomena (welfare, public communication, relationships between genres, terrorism, conflicts, individual and collective spirituality).
The course ends in a monographic way underlining the concepts of resistance and disobedience by an interreligious and intercultural point of view.

Obiettivi del Corso e Risultati di Apprendimento attesi

Aim of the classes

The main challenge of this didactic experience is to show an interesting perspective on cultural phenomena by always being able to recognize and decode their symbolic – often religious – normative structures. It means to face the multicultural context of our everyday life enhancing regional specificities and crossing, when necessary, other disciplines (medical sciences, psychology, law, economics).
